California-Nevada Section, AWWA Scholarship

The California-Nevada Section of the American Water Works Association is offering both undergraduate and graduate scholarships for the upcoming academic year for students interested in a career in a drinking water related field. The Section is offering four scholarships for those pursuing a two-year or four-year college degree program, two $5,000 scholarships for those pursuing graduate studies at the masters or doctorate levels, two $1,000 One AWWA Operator scholarships for those studying to be a drinking water operator and one $1,000 undergraduate scholarship in the memory of Linda Contreras. Undergraduate scholarships are applicable to community college or four-year college programs, including (but not limited to) water/wastewater treatment plant operator, field/distribution system operator, chemistry or lab tech, biology/ecology, environmental or civil engineering, mechanical/electrical/plumbing trades, etc. For more information or to apply, please click the link below.
