Journalism Institute for Media Diversity

Wayne State University's nationally acclaimed Journalism Institute for Media Diversity trains high-achieving students for careers in media. The institute offers scholarships for students to study journalism, public relations or radio and television production at Wayne State. Along with their studies, students in this program work as interns at local news and public relations agencies. Institute students often work at The South End,The Detroit News, Detroit Free Press, WJBK-TV, WDET-FM, Eisbrenner Public Relations and many more.
