We strongly encourage underrepresented groups to pursue STEM fields of study. Because we greatly value a broad range of perspectives and contributions, a large majority of our scholarships will be awarded to female students, underrepresented minority students (African-American, Hispanic or Native American etc.) or students with disabilities. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a bachelor's degree program at a four-year college or university in the United States, Canada or Mexico, show satisfactory progress toward an undergraduate degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related technical discipline such as electrical engineering, math, or physics, be able to demonstrate an interest in computer science, and must maintain a 3.0 GPA. All applicants are required to apply for a Microsoft internship and, if offered, must accept and complete the internship. For more information or to apply, please click the link below.
