The Ike Foundation awards scholarships to high school seniors pursuing full-time enrollment in a two- or four-year college or university in the U.S. Awards are based on financial need, academic achievement, demonstrated volunteer commitment (preferably in the fishing or conservation world), and a personal statement of how fishing has impacted your life and prepared you for college. Please submit a five paragraph essay on the following topic: "In a standard five paragraph essay format using examples from your own experience, evaluate how modern technology has impacted the sport of fishing. Simultaneously compare the difference between how you fish today and how the person who taught you how to fish fished in their day.
