Wisconsin Indian Student Assistance Grants

Awards under the Wisconsin Indian Student Assistance Grants are made to Wisconsin residents who are at least 25% Native American, and are undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in a degree or certificate programs at the University of Wisconsin, Wisconsin Technical College, independent colleges and universities, tribal colleges, or proprietary institutions based in Wisconsin. Awards are based on financial need with a limit of ten semesters of eligibility. To be eligible for a grant under the Indian Student Assistance Program, a student must have one-quarter Indian blood as certified by the appropriate Indian agency; or be recognized, for purposes of the program, as a member of a tribe by the appropriate tribal government.
